Our Mission

Accelerating the energy storage buildout

The world needs hundreds of gigawatts of new battery storage by 2030. The bottleneck isn't technology — it's the fragmented development process that turns every project into a multi-year slog through disconnected tools and manual workflows.

Why We Exist

The gap between ambition and deployment

The IEA Net Zero pathway and the COP29 Global Storage Pledge call for 1,500 GW of energy storage by 2030 — a sixfold increase from today. The technology is ready. Manufacturing is scaling. Financing is available. But the development process — the months of site assessment, constraint analysis, layout design, and stakeholder coordination that precede every project — hasn't kept pace.

Energy developers still piece together workflows from GIS software, CAD tools, spreadsheets, and project management platforms. Each tool solves one piece of the puzzle but creates new friction at every handoff. The result: months of pre-development work before a single permit application is filed.

Voltplot exists to close this gap. We're building the integrated workspace that compresses the assessment-to-design cycle — so the industry can deploy storage at the speed the energy transition demands.

What We Believe

Three convictions that drive our product

Speed matters

Every month a BESS project spends in pre-development is a month of clean energy the grid doesn't have. Voltplot compresses the assessment-to-design cycle from months to weeks.

Complexity kills projects

When teams need 6–8 separate tools to evaluate a single site, mistakes compound and projects stall. A unified platform removes the friction between disciplines.

One source of truth

Real-time collaboration means engineers, analysts, and managers all work from the same live data. No more emailing spreadsheets or reconciling conflicting versions.

Looking Ahead

Building for the next decade of energy development

The energy storage industry is still in its early chapters. As grid-scale battery projects multiply across every continent, the tools developers use need to evolve just as fast. We're building Voltplot for the long term — a platform that grows with the industry.

Our roadmap is shaped by the developers who use Voltplot every day. Features are prioritized by real workflow bottlenecks, not hypothetical use cases. Early access partners have direct input into what we build next.
